Metrici LPR, special guest at the Axis seminar in Prague
Metrici LPR was invited in June at a special event in Prague, organized on a regular basis by Axis. The Swedish company hosted a 1 day seminar for Axis ACAP applications developers in Prague.
Special developers from several European countries with software and solutions integrated in Axis cameras were invited at this seminar.
All topics at the discussions were technical oriented and connected with news and practical advices regarding software development for Axis cameras.
All topics gravitated around the experience ACAP development of the participants who already use this solution or plan to start with ACAP or are using ACAP platform for some middleware to connect 3rd party software/hardware with Axis cameras.
What is ACAP?
AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) is an open application platform that enables members of Axis Application Development Partner (ADP) Program to develop applications that can be downloaded and installed on Axis network cameras and video encoders.
ACAP makes it possible to develop applications for a wide range of applications:
- Security applications that improve surveillance systems and facilitate investigation.
- Business management applications that improve business efficiency.
- Camera feature plug-ins that add value beyond the Axis product's core functionality
